Of Damsels and Dread 08: Disinherit

As you all pull up to the McSquatch Manor, you all get out of your cars.

Stella, stealthing in from the woods, you see everyone get out of their cars.

All right.

Once I see everyone, I'll walk up because I'm fine with everybody else being there.

I just didn't want to be there alone.

And as you all get out of your cars, Arthur steps out of every single car.

And they all walk up the stairs.

And one of them turns around and goes, all right, everyone, right this way.

Mama McSquatch is waiting for all of you.

Val looks around and goes, well, wait, where's Billy?

Billy's not coming.

We'll talk later.

Val, I think, immediately shoots her dad a look.

And he gives you a silent nod and starts to walk up the stairs.

And I guess we come in.

I think Val like puts a hand on Stella's back and gives her a little pat on the back as we walk in.

Stella nods at Val, but that's all she can do.

Is this your other friend's house, right? This is Poppy's house.

She's

probably inside? Yeah.

Okay.

As you all get out, you do notice that there is a man with Eli, who you don't know.

A nicely dressed man.

Nothing super defining about him.

He looks like an older person who works in corporate, who seems to have kind of fit a mold.
