What if the ideas you repeatedly consume are quietly becoming the life you live? In this spontaneous recording, Maurice reflects on a striking realization: he had underlined a passage about moving…
Maurice PhilogeneHostI recorded what will be what would have been last week's podcast episode that was released.
Actually, in 174, I introduced the 10-step freedom process that I used and developed back in 2002 to develop my own financial freedom.
And as part of stopping consuming so much information and start integrating information, some of the Trilife Law and Global WhatsApp community asked me to help them look at their own frameworks of how they're going after financial freedom and integrate it into their life so the conversation in 165 that we recorded yesterday was supposed to help people integrate whatever framework they're going to use to pursue financial freedom using my framework just as a basis or something i could speak to which was great it was a great conversation That conversation became much broader than money.
We talked about identity, how your actions need to be repetitive, need to be immersive.
You can model people, model me or model somebody else or whoever you trust or a mentor or family member, such that it becomes part of your identity.
I was asked, what is the greatest barrier that I've seen working with clients or just in my decades of being aware of financial freedom, what is the greatest barrier that I've seen to people achieving what it is they want to achieve? And my answer was consistency.
People just don't remain consistent over one year, five years, 10 years, 30 years.
And because you do take action consistently, it drops into, that routine drops into your subconscious like brushing your teeth.
You eventually get to a point where you just start executing from identity and it stops becoming a strategy and just starts becoming who you are.
So it was a very broad conversation anchored on financial independence, but more so just on how work that you do can drop into your subconscious so you repeat it over and over.
One of the things I said yesterday was I told the group that when i look at my life probably and this came up in a conversation but i said probably 90 to 94 90 to 95 percent of what i do nowadays is give my attention to living especially with friends and family i'm doing a lot of deep connections, spending time with friends and family.
Let's say the 50 people that I love the most, whether they're in the US or around the world, spending time with them is really, really important to me.
I wrote about that in newsletter 67, how I'm currently on a world walkabout for the specific purpose of deeply connecting with people I care about around the planet and up the street.
and that maybe five to 10% of my time nowadays is actually occupied in business, entrepreneurship, making money, all the things that I kind of used to focus on.
