INTERVIEW: Comedian Jay Flake (jayflakecomedy.com) from our October 10, 2026 TRUITT NEWS RADIO Show

I was dying to hear, man, like y'all were talking about at that show.

Y'all drove down together.

There were three of you from Nashville, drove down to Birmingham.

I want to hear about this lifestyle, man.

That has to be a blast, at least in my opinion, or am I overblowing it? Is it a drag having to drive around with these people? It's got to be funny, though, right? Three comedians in a car.

Yeah, I mean, it's a fun time, to be honest with you, man.

So the ones that we can drive to, you know, shows are like four hours away.

We hit the road as a group.

And then we usually, you know, on the way down, we either talking about jokes we can work out or we just laughing about whatever happened during the week or whatever we hear on the radio, you know, grab a bite to eat.

do our thing at the show on the way back home it's the same thing just laughing and joking all the way back home

making fun of the crowd or whatever you saw in there

yeah we'll make fun of something that happened during the show I bet

man

we met after the show like for that particular show in Stardome I don't know if you were still there or not but the fire truck and the ambulance

showed up I don't remember that what happened man

We was doing a meet and greet, and I seen like four or five policemen walk out.

I'm like, what is going on?

And

then the fire truck pulled up.

And then the ambulance pulled up.

I was like, we really laughed somebody to death.
