And it's funny how with an attitude adjustment, our skills get so much better.
And when I say attitude adjustment, I mean there was a response by the players, obviously, after a disappointing week and the scrutiny in the media.
You would expect them to come out and play with heart.
most of the season since maybe the St. Kilda loss or whatever.
You know, we don't drop our heads typically.
We fight games out.
We're strong in the contest, relatively speaking.
We're surging the ball inside 50.
We play ugly footy and we don't win.
And so I'm just a little bit fascinated how there's a bit of a trend when the Eagles have to make a response and they switch on mentally.

At the end of the day, we lose both games and last week was a big opportunity to win.
And today we sort of had a chance for most of the game.
I think Colleen, we sort of kept this at arm's length most of the day, but I don't want to take too much credit away from us.
It was a good performance, still a lot of howlers, but you kind of accept that in the heat of those games, like people making dumb decisions of which there's plenty and I've written them down, even good teams do that.
So I won't harp on too much about those, but there were some critical mistakes that ultimately cost us the game.
Probably not as impactful as our defending.
Defending the ground was pretty poor today.
So that's the other side of playing better on offensive transition is that we got torched the other way.
And I don't think we defended particularly well in this game.
Part of me thinks, does the belief, does this help our belief, the fact that we can play this well, particularly from a skills point of view, like our intent.
I don't know if our hunt and intent changed this week.
