Dolly Parton’s Last Stop

Our thanks again to Mark Dukes of the Dolly Parton Tennessean Travel Stop, the president there.

And like we mentioned before, that was recorded a few weeks before we learned of her passing.

And I think one of the incredible things to keep in mind, although it's sad that we've lost her, her legacy will live on for generations.

Yeah.

As they say, may her memory be a blessing.

Yes.

And I think that stands true with Dolly Parton and obviously – she will be remembered as a blessing for all of us for a very long time.

So, again, as you said, thanks to Mark Dukes for taking the time to speak with us there.

And if you're in that area, in Cornersville, Tennessee.

I have a feeling a

lot of people.

Yeah.

I

mean, it drew a lot of people before.

I think even more so now people are going to want to, you know, feel closer.

And, yeah, I'm sure they'll be even busier than they were.

And it does speak volumes that that was her last public appearance.

This is one of her last – Business ventures, I suppose you could put it that way.

So it obviously meant a lot to her.

Yeah.

And I know that, you know, she appreciated all the love and support that that travel stop was getting.

And she has gotten over the years as well.

For sure.

So, again, may her memory be a blessing.

And we appreciate Mark sharing those stories with us as well.
