Trophy Whores 732 – Xbox Mass Extraction

Well, I started my week off, and last week, if you were listening, you remember that I made a...

I don't want to say an urgent, but I made a little bit of an ask.

I had a little bit of a favor, because I had trouble getting the PixelJunk Monsters Encore DLC, which would allow me to finish out that trophy list.

Well, I found a way to get it.

I will say that...

If anyone has, I guess, basically what I found is a website, and I found it on Reddit, where someone had written up code where something that is still stored on the PlayStation store on the PS3, which doesn't show up on the front end, if you can't find it via that, you can find it on this site.

You can just enter a game or something, and it'll bring up all the stuff that's stored on the site on the PlayStation store, and you can add it to your cart, and it'll take you through Sony's PlayStation store.

and you can add funds or, you know, you can spend the money to buy the game to, like, for instance, with PixelJunk Monsters Encore DLC, you can't find it on the store right now.

And I look for the Mass Effect 3 DLC, can't find that either.

So basically, I was able to enter PixelJunk Monsters into this website, and it pulled all of the expansions.

I was able to add Encore to my cart, went through Sony's PlayStation Store, I got the official... email from Sony saying, hey, thanks for, you know, your purchase, and then I went to my library on the PS3, and it was a top download, so it worked perfectly.

So, if anyone is interested, I can certainly give you that name of that site to help you, because obviously, search bar is still broken, tried that, and we have only until next year in July to clean up any trophies, so with them seemingly kind of taking more and more things offline on the PS3 store as far as what you can actually search for on the front end, This is a nice workaround.

So, yeah, I was able to buy Encore, able to finish out that trophy list.

I'm now 100%.

A game, you know, that I had kind of given up on, stuck at 7%, like, you know what, I'm fine with this.

And here we go, here we are, turn around, put a little bit of, show a little gumption, show a little fire, a little bit of... determination, and I have 100%ed a PS3 game that has given me fits for a long time, so very proud of that.

Proud to have that Platinum trophy, and the Encore trophies are not hard.

I got all of them in the first try, pretty much, except for one trophy called Scrooge Returns.

That was a little more difficult.

It's one where you have to have a certain amount of coins left in your... bank during a level at the end of the level.

So you can't just build wildly.

You have to figure out what's the best things to build, what's the best thing to put them, how to upgrade things.

So that one gave me a little trouble.

But other than that, it was easy and I got 100%.

Jump back into Helldivers because they released a new Warbond.
