And we begin with sad news first, unfortunately, as last week, the iconic Dolly Parton passed away.

Following her death, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and the Nashville International Airport announced a plan to rename the airport after the Tennessee native.

The proposal for renaming will be discussed at the Metro Nashville Airport Authority's meeting on Thursday, September 17th.

Feels like a no-brainer to me.

Yeah.

I mean, the only question here I'm thinking is what's that airport code going to be? Dolly Parton Airport would, I assume, be the name there.

So that DPA, but that already exists with DuPage Airport in West Chicago, Illinois.

So they work with them and force a change or something.

I don't know how that works, but Dolly in Nashville, maybe DNA.

Well, no, that's not a no go there because that belongs to an airbase in Nashville.

So I saw someone on social media said DDA for just Dolly Dolly, but I think they maybe had some other reasons too.

DDA is actually not a current IADAC airport code, so that is available, but I don't know.

Anyway, if you didn't know, Dolly Parton also had a theme park.

She launched it in 1986.

It's called Dollywood Park.

It's in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, near her birthplace.

So following her death, the president of Dollywood did confirm to the media that the future of the park will remain as what Dolly's vision was, and they do plan to really lean in heavily into the Dolly Parton Experience attraction that debuted a couple years ago.

So my kids really love that park, and they're not alone either, as Dollywood earned the number two spot on the TripAdvisor's list of top theme parks this year.

It's very affordable as well.
