In this week's episode, Kacy and Tyler talk about how unplanned and unnoticed bites, licks, and tastes can ruin your fitness goals.
So we're going to set a scene here.
Let's say it's a Tuesday.
You're making cookies, maybe for your grandkids, and you taste the cookie dough twice.
you're making lunches you swipe a little peanut butter off of that knife before you rinse it dinner's on the stove and you taste the sauce once to check the salt right and then once because you forgot what you tasted that's that's a real thing right and once it's just what you do while you cook and then somebody leaves fries on their plate and you eat a few on your way to the sink There's a candy dish on your desk.
You walk past it four times.
You know where this is going.
Like, none of that felt like eating.
That's the whole problem.
It didn't feel like anything because you were never taught to see it as anything.
So we're talking about three things today.
We're talking about what I call the BLT problem.
Bites, licks, and tastes that never make it onto a plate or even into a plan.
Second, I'm going to walk you through an actual day, item by item, so that you can hear how those BLTs actually add up in real numbers.
And third, this is the part that I hear about the most, how to notice this without turning it into a reason to feel like you're failing.
So let's get into
it.
