Like, I guess the reason why I was struggling with it so much was because I knew that a solution existed.

It wasn't like I was told, like how many people are unfortunately in positions where-

I, I just, I tried to accept it for so many years that after seeing so many specialists who kept turning me down, I said to myself, "You know, I understand it, and not only do I understand it, but I respect the opinion of the best specialists in, in the country, really." But at a certain point, I thought, "Well, how, how bad does my struggle have to get before we draw the line?"

And it had gotten really bad, and especially mentally, I just stopped being able to keep going.

And I'm really glad that I put the foot down when I did and said, "You know, I'm gonna go to as many doctors as I have to until I find someone who'll do it," because while maybe on paper it isn't ideal to do a double hip replacement in someone's 20s, at what point does it become too much? And I was at that point, and I'm very lucky that the specialist who ended up doing my surgery understood that.

I think he actually- I visited him recently just for a checkup, and we were, we were talking about it, and he said that w- he was actually quite upset after seeing me.
