For those of you less online than others, a deep fake is a fake video or image or audio recording made or altered with artificial intelligence that is designed to look or sound real.

And if you were so confident to say, I'd know if it was fake, I'd never get fooled by something fake.

And we're using this phrase to honestly examine in an age of ever increasing AI, fake news, allegations of fake news, fake videos, fake photos.

Every time in our family group Instagram chat, my wife and I see like an adorable, like two dogs, like Like, oh, look how these dogs are loving each other.

Which then leads to endless conspiracy theories, cultural divisions, which all come as a result.

In this age of constant manipulation, augmentation, and trickery, how can we press past, fake and imaginary in all areas of our life into something real? How can we have, today we're asking, how can we have a real, honest, genuine sense of who we are and not live under a fake identity? How can we trust even who we say we are? If I were to ask you, who are you? Tell me about yourself.

You might describe what you do for work, You might describe your relationship status.

So if I ask you who you are and you lead with those things, who were you when you were not those things? Were you still who you think you are now? And so then if you feel like, okay, well, the external changes too much for me to actually use that to say who I am, so I start to look inward.

We build it based on our feelings, based on our experiences, based on our wounds, based on our wins.

Our titles, our dreams, our desires, our attractions, our accomplishments, our ability to articulate.
