Good Morning Tipperary - Best of Andrew & Pat 24/07/2026

hurling yesterday like fair play to Limerick Limerick were great but like it was just it must be one of the worst All-Irelands to watch I thought they were too good or Galway just worked up for it it wasn't much to watch I thought and then I thought sure look I'll watch the football right and sure the old football might be exciting so I settled in for the soccer last night and sure it was worse Or worser, as you'd say.

It was

worser.

It was a lacklustre affair.

Do you see? I have proper words as well.

Yeah, you were listening to the

commentary.

That's how I got the word worser.

Yeah, it was disappointing.

I have to say.

Again, it's probably better even coming from the likes of me that knows nothing about it because I'm looking at it...

Wanting to be entertained and expecting to be entertained.

Through a different lens.

People that are into the football, the soccer and all that would be ahead of the game, excuse the pun, when they're thinking they're going to come out now and they're going to do this and they're counting down the clock and all that stuff that I wouldn't know anything about.

But Messi, again, from what we're told, is the best player.

He didn't turn up at all last night.

Did

you see it? He just turned up for the appearance, Mike.

But he hardly did anything last night.

But

he's that kind of player, just like Haaland in some ways.

Not in the game at all.

Then they pulled the trigger, but he didn't pull the trigger at any stage.

I don't think he even had a gun.

No, he didn't have a gun.
