He had lit the match.

He put it on the Tinder.

He had done this so many times before, but it's just not working.

But then he looked more closely at the Tinder and his heart just sank because he knew that the situation he was in was truly catastrophic.

You said that you're a magazine that exists to promote bodies of all types, and all of a sudden it's revealed that, for example, they pay smaller-bodied models more than larger-bodied models, right? Tinder for existential conflict.

And TikTok can often be that spark that lights that fire.

And I think there are a lot of... people that blow up really fast on TikTok and have only collected the kindling and Tinder.

And so their fire burns very bright and very fast.

And where TikTok can be the best tool in the world is for either building, continuing to build that fire, or to be that spark for someone who's already laid the groundwork for their career.

That entire explosion of winter growth doesn't just disappear.

It turns into literal tinder, stretching across thousands of miles of landscape.

Oh.

It is a piece of litter left lying around, or even just a piece of curved glass magnifying the sun's rays onto a patch of dry grass.
