Uh, we are gonna have a, a very in-depth chat about the, uh, the Open Championship.
We will do the normal run-through of last week, but we are not gonna be heavy, so you can skip forward if you like, but we will have a very quick chat.
Uh, the Genesis Scottish Open was held, uh, last week at, um, [lip smacks] I'm drawing a blank there, Renaissance Club, uh, in Scotland.
Matt F- Fitzpatrick finished T-3 at 13 under, along with Bobby Mac, Johnny Kiefer, and Nikita Nakajima.
And Min Woo Lee, the Aussie, did split them all at 15 under, uh, outright second all by himself.
Will, um, but it was great watching a course that I know reasonably well now, 'cause I have played here a few years in a row, but also just seeing some links golf, um, and watching these guys, I suppose that we normally see week in, week out on the PGA Tour, play very different styles of golf to this.
I don't know, it's probably the most fun, fun way to describe the viewing last weekend.
I, I didn't watch enough of it, but it is, it's fun to watch the, uh, and it's often talked about sort of watching the ball on the ground more so than, uh-
... just if it lands within six feet of the flag, it stops, that's great, that's done.
But it's, um, seeing it land 30 feet away, but then take the bounce and take the swales and do all that sort of stuff, that's, that's fun to watch.
Now, I'm not gonna spoil the picks for later on, but, um, it was fun watching that, and I think you summed it up well with ball on the ground and, um, and watching the way that players attack holes, um, and utilize bounce and utilize different, um, different ways to play.
