So there's a whole chapter in working memory, which is by far the biggest area that I work with on my clients.
And one of the ways it's coming out most and where people have the least strategies is how to organize thoughts or respond to kind of questions that they're not prepared for.
So if someone, you know, in the middle of a meeting goes, oh, what's that project update? You know, your brain's got to go back to the filing cabinet, get the answer, bring it forward, organize it in a linear format, and then kind of put that out there.
And our working memory often doesn't have the capacity to hold the question, hold the answer, and organize our thoughts.
And it's tripping people out of either staying silent or feeling this dreaded fear of, you know, God, people think I'm just talking in circles.
And my favorite thing to say to people is these are the simplest strategies to implement.
So like, please do try and like give them a go because they make a huge difference.
But a couple of the ones that are in there is the first thing is your brain actually just needs a nanosecond to filter everything through.
