[suspenseful music] I've always been fascinated with dreams, so when I get stuck for story ideas, I will sometimes turn to dreams.
I used to think nightmares were just stress, the unconscious trying to make sense of unresolved issues.
But now I'm not so sure.
It began three weeks ago.
I dreamt I was walking through a railway station late at night.
[footsteps] At first, there was no one else there.
Then I noticed someone standing at the far end of the platform.
He was tall, wearing a black suit.
But when I tried to look at his face, something distracted me.
Train approaching on platform seven.
Train approaching platform seven.
Then I woke up.
I had the dream again the next night, only this time the man came nearer to me.
I remember thinking that it was wrong, that I shouldn't be there.
Then he spoke.
You missed your train.
Before I could answer, I woke up.
You look awful.
My friend Angie didn't mince her words.
Seriously, when did you last sleep?
I told her about the dreams.
That doesn't sound scary.
Well, it is.
It is scary.
It feels more like I'm remembering something instead of just dreaming it.
