Of course, I think a lot of people hear the term law of detachment within like the whole law of attraction, manifestation space.
And it can feel very contradicting because it's like how are you supposed to want something so, so badly but let go of the outcome? Like how can those things exist at the same time? Like you talked about law of attraction and trying to get all these different things and do these different things, these visualizations.
that you're working towards every single day, but then you're just supposed to detach from it? What does that actually look like? And the beautiful thing is that actually, it is much simpler than it sounds.
And I think it actually can be very freeing.
And as I've started to let go, I've seen... how much easier and just, and not even, I don't know if easier is the right word, but just how much softer it's made life.
And it just allows you to exist without expectations while still being able to build.
And it's simply, in the most simple terms, is just trusting in the bigger picture and trusting that things are always working out and you're a favor.
And I think that because it is such a simple answer, It can feel like it's hard to actually implement on a daily basis.
But I think it just comes down to the practice of it and the sitting and the discomfort of what it actually looks like to let go of something.
And we're going to get into that in a second.
But I want to give you guys just a little bit of a metaphor so maybe it can make it make a little bit more sense.
Because one of my favorite ones is the restaurant metaphor.
And maybe this is something that you guys have heard before.
But it's essentially talking about manifestation in comparison to ordering at a restaurant or setting a goal and then ordering at a restaurant.
