Now, when it comes to just always putting other people's emotions before yourself, this is something that so many of us do because not only is it easier to deal with other people than to deal with your own emotions, but we would much rather carry the weight for the ones we love than see them go through it.
We would much rather go through that situation ourselves than to have somebody else do that.
It's weighing you down and it's destroying the peace that you're trying to have because that's exactly what was happening with me until I not only started to learn how to put myself first without feeling guilty about it, but how to then make sure I had peace within my life without trying to give it to everyone else and making them happy from here on out.
Because you see, back when I was still living in Maryland, constantly putting other people's emotions before my own was something that I was doing all the time.
Whether it was through friends, family members, the relationship I was in, whatever it was, I would constantly sit there and I would take care of other people.
It started to hold me back because I wasn't prioritizing myself because I was so worried about everyone else.
I was literally destroying my own life because of that until I finally realized that I had to start putting myself first without feeling guilty about it.
i had to start taking care of myself without feeling the need to be beat myself up for it and once i did that everything started to change i started to realize that i as a person deserve the same amount of tension deserve the same amount of help the same amount of advice that i give everyone else and once i started to give myself that grace Once I started to realize that a lot of the things in life is a two-way street, I started to let people go.
I started to change my life around entirely, and everything started to do a 360.
