You know, because when it comes to just genuinely attaching your progress to what you need to do, you're eventually gonna hit a point to where you never feel like you're actually doing enough.
You're never going to feel like you're actually making progress because you're so focused on what you haven't achieved, not what you already have.
Right when you sit there and you focus so much and you believe so much that you need to earn the life that you're trying to build, you're gonna start sacrificing the life that you're already living.
You're gonna stop knowing what it's like to actually feel happy because you're engulfing yourself so much in the dream, so much in the destination, that you're never going to appreciate where you're at today.
Right? You eventually have to realize that you aren't being drained from the work itself, you're being drained from the pressure you're putting on yourself to get these things done, to rush this progress, to have everything figured out.
These things are going to play out when it's supposed to, when you're ready for them.
And when you sit there and try and rush this, it's not going to do anything but hold you back and keep you in the same exact cycles that you're trying to escape from.
So, if you're tired of just constantly working hard but still feeling like you're never doing enough, then understanding that you have to stop attaching your progress to the things that you haven't accomplished yet genuinely is so important.
Because when I sit here and tell you guys that that isn't going to do anything but destroy your motivation, your confidence, the person you are trying to become, and just your fulfillment as a person, I genuinely do mean it.
Because as you see with me, that's exactly what had happened until I not only started to learn how to give myself credit for the things that I already have achieved, but how to then properly stop letting the fear of falling behind take control not only over me, but over the life that I was currently trying to build from here on out So moving forward, instead of just waking up either going full force towards the work or just not doing anything at all, find that balance.
