From top to bottom, this is probably, in my opinion, the best musical of the 21st century.

And I don't know how I could not argue that, like the cultural significance that this show has had just is unfathomable.

And the amount of conversations and discourse and debate and research, like people are still figuring stuff out about this show and it's been on forever.

I remember when I first heard about Hamilton, and I vividly remember somebody saying to me, don't listen to the soundtrack, just go and see it.

And I actually managed to listen to the show for the first time during lockdown when it hit Disney+.

So I was really strict on I'm only going to listen to it until I see it because I didn't want to be spoilt by, you know, hearing the music first.

And one of the things that I have learned about Hamilton, and I'm so excited to hear your take on it as somebody who has literally seen this show hundreds of times because you've worked on it, you've mixed it.
I think there's so many different things that make Hamilton the juggernaut that it is.
I think this is one of the biggest shows of the 21st century, you know, and it has had this longevity.
On all fronts, the acting, the history, the orchestration, the actual mixing of the show, it is dense, it is fast, it is structurally complex as a show.
And I think what, or at least what drew me to the show, is that you can tell that this is a labour of love.
And I think it is musically diverse enough that there is kind of something for everyone.
