And then how were clients finding you before you did have a bit of a marketing plan? How were you getting clients steadily?
I was relying on retainer clients and then-How they're referring me to their other friends or other colleagues as well.
So you were kind of like, like you said, in that service provider kind of freelancing mode, um, not really thinking of your own business as like a brand.
Um, so what was the catalyst to make you really wanna make that shift to more productized services, really stepping into your expertise? Like, what was that thing that was like, "Okay, now is the time"?
Most probably because I have been experiencing some shifts in my personal life, that I wanted to make sure that my business is supporting that, and the only way that it would make sense is if I productize my offers or, like, uh, set it at specific packages so that I wouldn't go scrambling for random inquiries on my website or for referrals only.
Yeah, that makes so much sense because, like, there's nothing wrong with being a freelancer-
That's definitely something that a lot of people would probably opt for over-
... launching because it is, like, you know, you just can kind of wait for clients to come to you, you make a decent income, you have a steady flow of retainer clients.
But when you do wanna make the shift, it really is about, okay, I wanna be in control-
... of what I'm doing, of my time, of how much money comes in, of when I'm getting inquiries.
