Ozrhix lays out the facts of the incredibly dangerous situation everyone finds themselves in, and conveys the importance of not having a loose cannon like Kivari's curse interfere with taking down the…
Last session.
You all witnessed a message left behind by Elgard Vorbalai Moro, grandfather or...
Pappy, of your new moon giant friend, Iapetus.
Elgard went over the significance of Absalom's station, the Starstone, and the horrors that could occur if bad actors reached that source of power.
Luckily, multiple species came together to build protection around the defenses that the Starstone had already erected.
These additions came in stages, each area protected by a magically infused door bound by key.
No two doors the same, no two keys the same.
No holder of a key knew any other holder of another key.
Elgard ended by stating that what lay behind the doors was both wondrous and dangerous, and to only proceed to open them if absolutely sure of your actions and intentions, leaving off with a message of hope for everyone.
You all had a brief discussion about a person that was familiar to some, if only by name, Elias Noctmar.
Elias' last known whereabouts was heading into the drift on a mission for the Pact Council, elected establishment that rules over the Pact worlds right here on Absalom Station.
They're right above you.
Skrank brought up the concerns of the damage Elias either knowingly or unwittingly is causing to as he traverses the Pact Worlds trying to uncover ancient ruins of long-lost civilizations known as the First Ones.
It seems like your crew is always one step behind Elias and that the dangers follow in his wake.
Iapetus expressed that he didn't feel like his friend Elias had ill intentions and that he was a man of science and discovery.
Could be that he just isn't aware of what occurs with the artifacts of the First Ones once he leaves.
You all gathered yourselves together to venture...
And ventured, sorry, back towards the Verma, the little pub, tavern inn of District 5 here in the Spike.
You ran into some familiar faces within the Verma, which was half destroyed from the falling metal debris that fell recently across the most of the district.
You ran into Odyssey 9, Numez, Ciro, and Wizard Ubius, who were all pretty happy to see you alive and well.
You turned in your bounties to Numez and got a nice little bit of credits for a job well done, and Skrank had a tearful goodbye with Gymnomaly, the non-sentient creature of pure chaos from an alternate dimension who has no clear signs of understanding concepts brought forward by Skrank like being friends or working together.
Ha ha ha!
Justin, it feels like you're kind of being mean to me right now.
I don't know.
This is my revenge.
