And at the same time, my wife, who had been at home with the kids, Also, you know, kind of felt like she also wanted to do something a little bit different.

And I took some time off from work and just to kind of regroup, spend time with the family and whatnot.

So as kids got a little bit older, there was more... time available for me as they started going to school.

And I was trying to figure out, you know, what I might want to do, um, you know, something for myself, uh, business type type thing.

Um, One thing I'll add that kind of plays into this was at the time when at Moosehead Lake, when the big brookies were really becoming known, you know, at Lily Bay and stuff, and biologist Tim Obrey had put out some videos of those big brook trout.


And I can remember seeing those big trout thinking how cool that was because I mean, it's close to home.

And that's, you know, that's something everyone generally is going to go out there, you know, hoping to catch.

And it's neat to see that kind of behind the scenes, what they do, how they're acting, you know, what kind of bottoms there.

And just seeing these giant trout that, you know, as a fish of a lifetime and several of them together.

And it's like, you know, thinking about it afterwards, I mean, you don't have to catch something every time to enjoy being outdoors, but obviously we like to catch fish.
