Uh, why do you believe that you should be the Rho- Rhode Island's next governor?

What we need is something very different than the governors that we tend to elect.

We elect governors who don't really seem to have a great understanding of the organization that they ultimately want to lead.

We elect a lot of governors who talk in sound bites, and who don't really have a lot of knowledge behind the proposals that they make.

We have been electing governors who haven't been up to the task of tackling the hardest problems that we have, and I will run right at those problems.

We have to get better educational outcomes from our public schools across the board.

The administration, the state government, everybody needs to come together to solve the problems that we have in each different school district because we must.

We can't do that when we are unfortunately under-educating way too many students, particularly in our urban districts.

There are a great many different problems that I'm gonna approach with just the passion and drive that you heard here right now, and that's the thing that's been missing from our governors for far too long.
