Enjoy this brief, spoiler heavy recap of Season 3, episodes 1-12! We're in the process of getting episode 13 recorded, and we can't wait to bring that to you. In the meantime, why not enjoy some…
It's your friendly neighborhood keeper here.
Um, we do not have episode 13 recorded as of me recording this particular message.
So I thought what I would do is put together a little recap of the story so far.
What you just heard was from episode one wherein Glade made the decision to put down the mask with the help of her friends.
After a, uh, foray into her mind where they encountered, uh, echoes of Michael Wormwood and the mask pursued them through not only Glade's mind, but through Juno, Alistair, and Baron's, um, they did manage to rid her of the control of the third mask.
We then moved on to episode two.
Upon waking up and realizing that seven months had passed, Glade also learned, as well as the rest of the crew, that Doug had rendered himself a cripple with the effort needed in order to send them all into Glade's mind.
They stopped for fuel and, uh, spare parts, as they were still missing their landing gear, and they came to R-Tips Station, where they learned that a ship called The Howler had arrived in the system.
And as they looked at the footage the station had recorded, they discovered an unfortunate truth.
Some sort of gun battle before it went dead?
Not that we could see.
And you don't know what was chasing it?
We caught a glimpse of something.
We, our scopes here on the station aren't really that good, but...
And you can see Clem reaches into a pocket, and he pulls out a personal data center, and he, uh, he pulls up a little video.
He's like, "This is as good as we saw.
It was kinda captured in the backdrop of the sun, so the image is not too good." And he presses play, and you see the vague, vague outline of what looks like the type of creature that was attacking Gate City.
In the end, need drove them to the wreck of The Howler.
As they approached, they were hailed by the captain, Jebediah JJ Jerome, who appeared spaced out and kinda fucked up, honestly.
They breached the cargo bay, uh, while Alistair stuck into the med bay.
Greeted by the captain, Glade and Creed noticed that the captain was obviously infected, and they executed him.
However, the act of shooting him awakened the other creatures.
A very tense gunfight e- erupted, and, uh, fortunately, some unlucky rolls were saved by some lucky dodge checks.
They, uh, managed to scrape out a narrow win without getting infected.
[gunshot] The, uh, shotgun goes off.
