Federal Hunting Council Gains New Sportsmen Representation Across America | TSV Roundup Week of September 28th, 2026

We celebrated, like many of you, National Hunting and Fishing Day 2026.

America's sportsmen and women celebrate 250 years of outdoor heritage.

Hope all of you got out for that.

Can report to you here at CSF annually.

We work with our Governor's Sportsman's Caucus members and other governors' offices throughout the country.

This year, secured 45 governor proclamations recognizing the sportsmen and women of their respective states, the contributions to conservation, the economic impact of sportsmen and women in their states.

I can also tell you that in New York, There was a legislative resolution that went

through,

and New Jersey also with a legislative citation recognizing the day.

So having that many states represented there, 47 out of 50, is tremendous.

And obviously we applaud our partners, governors, and our legislators and our legislative sportsman's caucuses for bringing those home and driving that and giving that rightful recognition to a small minority of the population that does so much for

everybody, for nearly 350

million people in this great country, as well as internationally.

If you think about some of the migratory birds that we have international treaties with that we contribute to.

So happy National Hunting and Fishing Day a few days later.

Again, hope you got out and celebrated.

More news here in the Northeast.

We welcome a new team member.

Devin Mariano joins us.

He is covering Southern New England, New York, and New Jersey.

So if you're tuning in from any of those states, we look forward to you and Devin connecting and working together.

Excited to have him on board.

Lots of new talent here on the CSF team from across the nation.

Normally, I would cover this in the housekeeping, but since we're talking about new team members, there is still an open position.

I invite you to go to the website, congressional sportsman dot org, congressional sportsman dot org.
