I'm Jamie Kerrig, Senior Associate Athletic Director at Berry University and a 30-year veteran of South Florida sports.

I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in sports administration.
And I think this is really a great topic, Jamie, because our the young people who are listening to this, whether they're in high school and trying to figure out what's next for them or those who are studying sports administration, sports management, sports business at the college level, they're going to have to make a hard decision at some point.
Do you pursue that master's degree? Do you try to get right into the workforce? These are decisions that both you and I had to face at some point.
Do you need a master's degree or should you not get a master's degree if you want to work in sports? I want to do something a little bit different here, Jamie, if you're okay with it.
I have no master's degree, but I'm going to go ahead and discuss some of the reasons why I think our young people should consider getting a master's degree and jump in at any time as a guy who's a little bit more of an expert on the subject than I am.
