And he'd do things to me there and, you know, there'd be times where there'd be people, you know, in the room or in the next room and have, like, had absolutely no idea.
When I was four, again, my brother was being born in 2002.
And So my mum and dad were at the hospital and he was looking after me.
And he was taking me to and from school when they were at hospital.
And I remember telling my teacher that I don't like my dad sleeping in my bed.
And I think there was a bit of confusion because obviously my dad used to call him dad because my dad never had a dad.
And so, yeah, I just said, you know, I don't like dad sleeping in my bed.
And so social services came in 2002 and kind of investigated my dad.
But they were investigating the wrong person.
And that was kind of the end of that.
There was nothing else after that.
Just kind of went on.
And then I became six.
um sorry skipping a few two years um I became six and um I was in school and was learning about um sexual education and um I remember they put on a video um about sex and you know this is something that boyfriends and girlfriends do mummies and like it was it was like very much that and I was like you know it kind of then it kind of clicked to me that wait but my granddad is not my boyfriend my granddad is not so then it kind of clicked to me that this is wrong because from four till till six I just saw that as a normal thing that every child kind of went through like I didn't see it as like you know this wasn't normal and um because obviously social services didn't investigate the right person, it went on until I was 17.
