Uh, man, a lot happening.

You know, we had weather the last weekend, caused us to, uh, have to cancel some events.

Some stuff got pushed, uh, some, some festivals we had planned.

This is, uh, hospital week, so West Jeff Hospital is taking this whole week to just appreciate and recognize their workforce, the folks that make it all happen, West Jeff Hospital, and all the hospitals around our community.

But this week end, on Friday, we're gonna have the Family Fest.

So when I get back from break, I, I believe, uh, Mr. Jonathan Lamberto's gonna call and tell us a little bit about what's happening at Family Fest.

Uh, later in the show, I'm gonna have, uh, the Chicken Man call in.

Now this is something, you know, Mr. Lacarry Steele, uh, the guy, um, he's kind of a West Bank, uh, you know, celebrity, I suppose.

Uh, he's got this car.

You've seen it decorated different ways.

He rides in some parades from time to time.

His front yard is, uh, let's just say, um, it's interesting, right? So it's quite, it's quite the spectacle, I suppose.

All right.

So he's been, uh, on, I guess, in the news, in, uh, Facebook, social media.

He's definitely had some run-ins, got sideways with code enforcement.

Um, he's had an interesting life.

He's done some interesting things.

But, um, you know, he's, he's kind of in a tough spot right now and, uh, I was hoping to, to give him a moment to, you know, tell us a little bit about what's going on.

He's somebody I've had on the show in years past, but, um, I wanna be clear.

I, I'm, I'm supportive of code enforcement.

I think code enforcement is, is very important for our community, uh, Jefferson Parish as a whole.

I like to see the code being enforced fairly, and I like to see, um, people keeping up their property.

You know, there's a lot of revitalization.

There's a lot of, uh, increasing property values all over our parish, which is great for folks who, who own properties.

Um, and you know, we wanna see that continue.
