Uh, I got the opportunity, and thank you so much, uh, for that opportunity to, uh, to do a piece that was a, a representation of the West Bank

BankAnd, uh, and, you know, being over on Sala Avenue in Westwego, you know, we have the Westwego Historic Museum, which has a bunch of books and whatnot that are, like, all on the history of the West Bank.

So I kinda took a little stroll through there and got inspired, and ended up getting a bunch of different, um, books that, uh, that kinda make the piece more like a time capsule of the West Bank, like the history of the West Bank in regards to, like, the early founding of it, and then maybe some of the small businesses that's been part of it, and then the, uh, industrial development of it, and so on and so forth.

And the piece runs from, um, the, uh, the, the Huey P.

Long to the GNO, um, covering all the different cities and h- uh, some of the historic landmarks that are involved in it.

So it's a really, uh, it's a really fun piece to walk up to and kind of like submerge yourself into, and then find all the different Easter eggs throughout it.

Um, and it's also a great representation of everything that the West Bank is in regards to, like, the culture, uh, the historic, um, you know, the, the cities, neighborhoods, um, and then just, you know, the different forms of industry that we, that we have here on the West Bank that we u- that we do that basically supports, you know, the entire, uh, state of Louisiana.
