What a Dying Dog Taught Us About Self-Esteem and Resilience with Dr. Julie Powell Hall

There are a couple of reviews up on my website, which is www.juliehallwrites.com. You can read those reviews.

I've got a review on Amazon, um, Most people in those comments I get is I can't believe how uplifting it is.

I was afraid to read the book at first when I read at the very beginning that he may not make the trip, you know.

And then they come back and they say, but he was happy.

He crossed the Rainbow Bridge and his love will endure forever.

You know, and so they were surprised that they actually would want to read it again and again and again.

And most of my neighbors have put this on their coffee table now.

You know, I've got the book up here, sort of hard to see, but

it's becoming a coffee table book for conversation.

Oh, that's awesome.

I love that.

So, yeah, you've got you've got that.

How did you like it's the first book you've written, right, as well?

At first, kind of book like this, my doctoral dissertation was actually my

first book.

But this is my first actual true story nonfiction

book that

I

penned.

So what was the moment when you decided, oh, I'm going to write a book on this? Like what kind of got you thinking like that?

Well, you know, most of us don't like it or not, but a lot of us are procrastinators.

And this journey actually started in the year 2000, Y2K.

And you say, well, why did it take 26 years, 25 years to get the book out there? Well, I will tell you, life got in the way.

But I kept writing through those 25 years my thoughts.

And I would write out sentences about what courage that Max had and his self-esteem and his tenaciousness and puppy-like and the beauty of the trip.
