So the last question I wanna ask you on this episode is a slightly different question to the ones that's preceded it 'cause obviously we've talked about the studies and implications.

So I think some of these studies, and these are just examples of, like, there's so many other studies in this area-

... out there, that essentially the argument is- Prior knowledge is really important, um, and prior knowledge is not evenly distributed in society.

But therefore, if prior knowledge is really important, and if it's unevenly distributed, we as a society have this moral responsibility to make sure that everyone can access this rich curriculum, and therefore going from novices to expert is really important through some of this explicit instruction.

And I guess you can't help but look at which countries and which governments have championed these ideas.

So we saw what happened, um, with the conservatives, with Nick Gibb and Michael Gove.
