As someone who's been involved with Australian women's sport both as an athlete and a journalist over the years, where do you see the current state of women's sport in Australia and what do you think we should be doing better?

Okay, I think I wish it could be fast forward, like, you know, times four pace.

But I think we are taking all the right steps.

I think we're starting to take women's sport way more seriously.

And if you're a young girl now, really anywhere in Australia, you don't have to stop playing sport at 14.

You can continue on and play.

And that's massive in creating a career.

I know in NRLW, like, the least amount you can earn in an NRLW season is just shy of $50,000.

That's huge.

That's more than my professional journalism contract that I first got in Harvey Bay.

And that's for half a year, which so it should be because – We're taking the right steps and I think it's a generational thing.

I think we see the people who don't agree with women playing sport, they will age and they will be quiet and it will just be normal in 20 years.

Absolutely.

What sports excite you, women's sports at the moment or even women athletes? Oh.

Oh, I just got back.

I don't know if I can time this.

But yeah, Commonwealth Games earlier in the year, that was incredible because we had more female athletes.

We had more gold from female athletes.

But team sport wise, it's hard to go past NRLW because I feel like I was engaged in that space with the Rabbitohs.

Aussie rules, I do agree with a lot of critics that it grew maybe too fast.

But also, you can't get it right every time.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

So...

Yeah, possibly those two.

Oh, and water polo.
