Can you use lifting in a way that maximizes hormone production yet minimizes the interference effect on your running? Yup!
I'm trying my best, but I'm firmly in this, for the millionth time in the last however many years, firmly in the everything is kinda rocking me stage, where, like, yesterday I did a recovery run, 42 minutes, easy-- Not even a recovery.
But I am finding that lifting is the thing that makes me feel the absolute best right now.
But I'm also not killing myself on squats or-- and I'm not doing any Bulgarian split, um, squats at all.
That was gonna be my exact follow-up question, was, well, how hard are you going on your legs? Because I find, like, you can walk around with sore chest or your lats ripped up-
... or even biceps that are torn up, but the legs will suck the life out of me, and then it ruins my running.
