Our most dreaded workouts, hill running for Easy Days, “super trainers”, and how much should you expect to improve?
When I got going and you know how you always know your fitness, know how I know my fitness is good, but I'm riding the line, whether it's, this isn't training riding the line.
I think it's, you know, I got four and a half hours of sleep last night and I got, you know, it's, it's life plus training.
Like I'm running in a big circle, like city block, country road block, but somehow it's in my face the whole way.
But so I just convinced myself, you know, one rep, you can be nice to yourself and run slower than you plan.
Like I actually need to get high heart rates and get uncomfortable before things finally open up, which I didn't remember it being that difficult a decade ago.
I was working hard and not really enjoying it, but the splits opened up and it continued that way.
And I did kind of a half-ass lazy warmup, you know, 30 thirties, but didn't put much effort into them.
I wasn't really feeling like being punchy in my dynamics, um, beforehand and then i took off and i was like this is terrible and it's like no like i think if i were to go run like an all-out mile or even like a 5k right now that i really cared about i may do like two or three by 400 like i do like four by 200 meters before a mile like actually and i'd probably do two by 400 before a 5k so it actually feels approachable when the gun goes off like i need real work before the work happens is all i'm saying
