Accountability is essentially meeting your obligations and being responsible for them, owning them.

Accountability is a really important tool in the toolbox of anyone trying to create change.

In fact, it's also essential for organizations who are trying to create change as well.

So I'm a coach and the space where coaches operate, crudely speaking, is moving someone from where they are to where they want to be, or rather facilitating the process by which an individual moves themselves from where they are to where they want to be.

And that can be anything from a material goal or performance target right through to their very identity and how they want to transform.

In my group coaching work, one-to-one work and in my membership, I have different ways that I build accountability into the way forward.

So what will get in the way of change and how will you mitigate against it? How will you know when you've achieved your goal? Accountability is one tool of the many tools in the creating and maintaining change toolbox.
