NRF Europe in Paris was inspiring, but yet raising many questions

Yes.

So I think everybody was really excited last year about, well, excited and also like kind of

questioning.

Is it going to be more like Paris Retailer Week? Is it going to be more like NRF New York? Like, we're super excited.

And I think last year the feedback was great.

We're not quite sure yet.

It's good, but is it fair? We don't know.

My problem is that I can only ever attend one day.

So I want to hold up my hand and say the feedback I'm giving is always based on only a one day visit.

So last year I had decided to focus on the exhibitor floor and I had felt like that was a mistake for me personally, because obviously I focus on retail design, so physical stores.

And last year was honestly more like the NRF New York format.

So I was really at least on the exhibitor floor tech focused.

For

me, last year, I was a bit like, OK, I'm not sure.

I don't know if I really want to go back if this is what it is.

But I had received really positive feedback on the conferences.

So everybody was really excited, had said, wow, the talks were amazing.

There's a lot more coverage of the omni-channel aspect, so physical and online.

tech and online and AI all together.

So this year I thought, okay, well, I want to give it another chance because if I missed on the conferences last time, then I'm going to focus on that this year.

So again, I only went one day, but this time I really made a point of doing conferences first and then like a quick browse through the Exhibitor Hall.

So you did that and were the conferences, as you expected, good or very good?

So I was lucky enough to attend the opening conference and the theme was very, very exciting.

I think everybody was looking to that one as like the one to attend.

And it
