We went to speak with Boro boss Kim Hellberg ahead of Boro's game against Cardiff on the 17th of October.
Um, last couple of days you've beaten a couple of teams that were at the time amongst your nearest rivals.
Uh, obviously every game matters, but how much of a statement is it that you feel like you've made, and what's the impact been on your dressing room?

I think we play a lot of teams that have a very good start to the season, and, uh, it's always important to try to beat those teams.

It's always important to, um, to win football games, like, like you said, whoever you play.

But, uh, it gives a lot of confidence in, in beating teams with, with that have won a lot of games in, in coming from different runs and which we, we've done now.

And of course, Stoke was, I, I think, the best in terms of last six games, if you look at that.

And, and we also had a very good, good spell just before the game we play them, so, uh, it shows a lot about the, the, the group and, and, and the quality in that we are progressing.
Uh, you're in fantastic form, playing very entertaining football, but a few of the games have been a bit of a rollercoaster.
Uh, would you prefer maybe having a bit of a lower heart rate and keeping a few more-
... clean sheets consistently?

I think the performance last, like against Stoke was, uh, was, uh, like if you go away to that type of team and concede that few chances, they had one shot on target.

Um, I think in general that was a performance that was, uh, not as much rollercoaster, but in, in, uh, in some way the game ended up like that anyway.

So yeah, if, if, uh, your q- question is, is I want to win four-nil every game, I would take that and that would be perfect [laughs] both for heart and head.
Uh, and on Saturday you're facing, uh, recently promoted Cardiff, who are coming off the back of a good result themselves.
Uh, what have you made of them, and have you had much time to, to analyze them in the last few days?

Um, they are very brave on the ball, and together with us, the two most in possession teams, I think.

So, uh, I, I think Cardiff is an, um, very good football side and, and they will cause problem and have been causing problem for all the teams, and I think they deserve more points than they have.
