What does a health coach actually do every single day? Not the polished version you see online, the real one, with a baby at home, a full work schedule, and the same time constraints as everyone else…
Uh, I get up, some days it's a drag myself out of bed, some days it's get up and go.
Whether that workout is at home in this office, literally, the weights live in the corner.
Um, uh, some days it's in the office, or, um, some days it's at a gym or part of something else.
Like for instance, on Saturdays, I actually go to a free men's workout group called Carry and Connect, which is a combination of, like, men doing hard things and then also doing a bit of a D, you know, D and M sort of men's group kind of work and, um, some blokes might know about that kind of thing.
Um, so I get up, get straight into the workout in the morning, so up at 5:30, 5:00, 5:30 is kind of somewhere in there.
Um, and if it's a day-- So actually, my whole life, and I've experimented with so many supplements and different things.
I, I have a lot of muscle soreness quite easily and, um, and this began sort of in my adult years, and I've had lots of tests and tried and experimented with lots of different things.
Um, and I've had lots of injuries off the back of that, and I don't know exactly why that is.
And on the days that I'm feeling a bit sore or like I'm teetering on the edge of injury, um, which you know, unfortunately has happened a lot in the last year because of carrying babies and lots of heavy things and sitting at a desk, you know, being a gremlin, typing all day, that kind of thing.
Um, on those days, I will either do some stretching, maybe, maybe yoga, maybe a stretching routine, maybe some meditation, maybe some breathwork.
And I've been young and dumb too many times and injured myself, so I'm pretty good at listening in and being like, "All right, take it easy today." Um, second thing is then I eat.
