Even before I begin, I offer my sincerest apologies for sounding like this.
I lost my voice yesterday and haven't spoken since.
After consuming countless teas with honey, vitamins, herbal supplements, and other medicinal and non-medicinal concoctions, attempting to invoke the power of all our tzaddikim, past, present, and future, thinking about donating to a mere balanay, scoop out an ear, and going to a muqah for 40 days, and of course, most importantly, a good old conversation with a Bayrelim for a fuhashlema, all to no avail.
I decided that it's ultimately better to have a daf to listen to, albeit quite different than usual, than not have a daf at all.
Thank you in advance for all your brachas and well-wishing, and for anyone who has a speedy remedy for a lost voice, I'll be glad to make use of it next time, shall there ever be one.
So ensure you're in a quiet room, turn up the volume, and here we go.
Shalom to all.
