We’ve all done this at some point: built our sense of safety, worth, even our identity around another person. And when that person is gone — whether through divorce, a breakup, or simply the slow…
And in the session I'm sharing today, I'm supporting a dear, beloved sister of mine who became a dear, beloved sister of mine after she joined the School of Pussy Center Living with me.
And over this time of knowing each other, we have just gotten to be very, very good friends and And so let this be a warning to you that if you are my student, if you are my client, even if you come on to the podcast, you very well may become a dear beloved sister of mine.
And the dear beloved sister here in this coaching session, she is also a part of the Pussy Centered Living community.
And I would also love for you to be a part of the Pussy Centered Living community.
But really what I want to share is just a few juicy bits from this episode so that you understand that this is a really powerful one for you to listen through to.
And so the core essence of what we were doing in this session, and this is like the work that freaking all of us have, right, is to source what we truly need from within ourselves instead of externally.
Because as children, we must get what we need from external sources like we don't have the ability to source that from within ourselves.
And then for whatever reason, we don't then make the shift as we become adults into thinking.
And my theory on this is because in our modern lives, we don't have the powerful coming of age ceremonies that we experienced in times past
where we had rituals and traditions to really mark the end of childhood and the beginning of adulthood.
And so because we no longer have that in our society's I think that we don't really make the transition from these childhood patterns into the patterns that are going to serve us as mature adults.
And so we do this, right? We place our source of safety, of love, of validation outside of ourselves, right? In other people.
And so the work is then to claim those sources of love, of validation, of safety, right? of acceptance, right? To source that from within ourselves first.
And when we do that, we become freaking powerful, sovereign creators of our reality.
And so I was specifically supporting my dear beloved sister here in shifting the source of her safety and her worth and identity away from her ex-husband and deeply into herself.
And of course, what makes this episode really valuable and why I love sharing the coaching episodes on the podcast is because we're not just naming this pattern.
