I, I heard you say that you, you killed your, your, on your very first stand, was it, or just your first kind of outing?
First outing.
Yeah.
Not first stand.
Um, It's been years ago, but it was probably, I don't know, second or third stand.
We were hunting fresh property, you know.
Property that's never been hunted before.
My uncle had some friends, or a friend that has some cows, and he was like, yeah, you can try it out.
And he hit a couple of local properties.
But yeah, we got lucky the first night and it wasn't but one coyote.
You sort of go into something like that expecting to learn and get better.
Obviously you do, but having success really hooked us on the first night out.
Oh yeah, I bet.
That sounds awesome.
Me and I know a lot of other guys really had to work for that first one we got.
I couldn't even tell you how many stands I made just using hand calls and stuff and never had much left for years.
A lot of screw-ups.
A lot of screw-ups.
A lot of missed shots.
A lot of coyotes coming in and getting our win, not paying attention.
Just rookie
mistakes.
