I'm Susan Guthrie, your host, and today I'm doing the final solo episode before the launch of the Business Plan Playbook, second edition.

And I know Somebody sent me an email and said, why is this so much of an advertisement these days for the book? And I'm sorry, because it's not meant to be an advertisement.

I want you to know what the book is about, because in a title or in a blurb, it's really hard to get across to you how I'm trying to help with the content in what is in the book.

The book is is titled based upon the first edition of the Business Plan Playbook.

And so for the past several episodes, I've been trying to show you in finite ways how when you dive underneath what you are doing or what you need to plan, And you really get down into the nitty gritty of how that particular aspect of a practice will drive you to the practice that you want to build, the practice that you want to live in.

That's why I've been referencing the book and doing these episodes that are descriptive of the process that I take you through in the book.

Before the book comes out, each one of these is incorporated into the book in its elements, but the book is a holistic approach to building this type of a plan, to being this intentional about building what you want.

And that can be whether you are starting today in building a practice or if you have a practice that you've had for years about how you might redesign parts of it so that you end up with the practice that you really want to live in.

into one of those tempting ideas that professionals have all the time after they've been in practice for a while.

How are you going to grow? How are you going to scale? How are you going to get bigger or better than what you have today? And that could mean more clients or more visibility for your firm or for your services or for your practice.

I know many people would be excited if it brought in more revenue or more opportunities for you.

if the practice underneath is designed to hold that growth and to grow in a way that gets you where you want to go.
