Pat talks about tonight's Town Hall hosted by Evan Hess. He also encourages folks to volunteer on election day and spread the Forward message - and has a few thoughts on the botched execution in TN.
Tonight, we have our virtual town hall, and this month is focused on our candidates.
As you know, we have Forward Align candidates, folks who sign our pledge and run on the ballot as, uh, whatever their particular party might be at the moment, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, or even an independent like April Montgomery out in District 51.
So, uh, that will change once we secure all our signatures, we have ballot access, and people can appear on the ballot as a Forwardist.
But tonight, you will hear from Evan Hess, our candidate director, as well as some of our Forward Align candidates in this election cycle, again, election day coming up in just a few weeks, and early voting opening very soon in your area.
To that end, if you are a volunteer and you wanna find ways to engage, election day is indeed the Super Bowl of politics for us.
So great opportunity to set up a little table and chair and sit and talk to your neighbors, talk to people coming in and voting.
Let them know that, hey, the next time you come to vote, you'll have some more choices on the ballot.
We can provide you as a volunteer with table, chairs, literature, handouts, your Forward T-shirt, anything you need.
I'll give my number at the end of the show as I always do, and we'll be happy to help you coordinate that effort.
