As a person associated with the Golden Eyes that's trying to push not just this team, but this league into the public, what does it mean for you and the players to be a part of such a historic brand?

I think that most of us as little girls grew up watching Hockey Night in Canada.

I know for myself, I watched it with my brothers and my dad and my mom too, but my brothers and my dad, we would sit there with pajamas on Saturday nights and it was just incredible.

And always just, I mean, I would watch my brothers as they aspired to like play in that.

I just think it's incredible now that little girls can sit in their pajamas and watch us and know that they could one day be on that show.

You know, one of the things that I always found in pro sports that was so important is to have a night, to have a destination night where you just knew that you could be in your pajamas or in your regular clothes, could sit around the TV and watch a game.

And I think it's just great for our fans because, you know, they no longer have to like, you know, look up the schedule and where can I tune in and where they know that now there's a place for us on Saturday nights.

And as a fan, it must be so exciting to know that you can see women's hockey in this primetime slot.
