Podcaster Alex Cooper's best efforts to support expectant mothers has been overshadowed by internet scammers... And why Father’s Day barely rates a mention on socials. The Mums' Group is a podcast…
Now, Sophie, we are just days out from Father's Day, but I don't think you'd know it.
There's not much of a hype about the day on social media, particularly like we saw with Mother's Day.
Well, I don't know if it was a hype about Mother's Day or there were a lot of scared fathers who were just like, oh my God, I've got to get it right, particularly for their partner's first Mother's Day.
We were all, well, not you, Amy and I were approaching our first Mother's Day.
So we were getting fed a lot of content about what we deserve and what we should expect from the day.
And consequently, our husbands were getting very nervous and trying to plan the perfect gifts for
I mean, we had a whole episode dedicated a couple of months ago to how to create the perfect Mother's Day, what to give.
Clearly the wrong audience we were talking to because this audience is predominantly women.
I think that type of content isn't on TikTok for Father's Day because I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I think women usually get it right.
Like when I search Father's Day, the absolute brilliant ideas I was seeing of really sentimental gift ideas, there were a lot of craft going on.
It would be much more advantageous for men to actually search Father's Day and see what women come up with for gifts and just replicate them.
On Mother's Day this year, Mamma Mia did a segment about how not only do we expect a lot as mothers from our partners, but we also expect to make sure that every mother that is acknowledged so you know our own mums our friends who are mums the dog mums out there those who sadly don't have mums but when it comes to father's day that's all thrown out the window like I don't hear many dads being like on a shout out to my mate
who's a top dad too or like here's to all those who don't have fathers and I think it's because at its core mums are more important Well, yeah.
One thing I'm looking forward to is the top quality posts that mums are going to be putting out because we've spoken about it a lot.
Women are great at capturing nonchalant behind the scenes content of their partners being dads.
also an opportunity for most millennial women to share a really beautiful wedding photo of them and their dad.
