We have Bobby Smith on, again, the co-chair on this episode.

Bobby's been around for a little bit.

We're going to get into why Bobby is on, but we are also welcoming...

Rich Kennedy from New Jersey Golf.

Rich has been generous enough to give us some time here.

And he's the organizer of the events that Bobby and I have played in.

And I don't want to give too much away there, Rich, but...

I think that's a pretty good intro there for a quick kind of clip notes there.

Yeah.

So so the events that you guys played in are are the you know, these these are the events for everybody else, I say.

We run, New Jersey golf runs the best championships.

As you know, we run a state open, state amateur, women's amateur, state four ball, senior amateur.

So just, I can go on and on about our championships.

That's what we're known for.

So the events that I run are for everybody else.

I mean, those championships, we got like 7%.

of the golfers that are associated with our organization can even qualify for those events.

And then the golfers that can actually compete and have a chance at winning, you probably cut that in half as well.

So we got a lot of golfers in New Jersey, as you guys know.

So these events that we're going to talk about today, that's what they're for.

They're for everybody else.

I absolutely love that.

And we're going to get deep into those because that's really the bulk of what we're going to talk about today.

But Rich, before we get there, I want to hear about your background, kind of a little bit about you.

How did you get involved in New Jersey golf? How long have you been playing golf? Tell us your criteria here for what brings you here.
