Obviously, the pike fishing was obviously a big thing with you up there.

You know, when did you start kind of getting serious into that? I suppose

I would say, you know, dabbling out of it.

And then obviously then I had a family.

So I kind of gave it a kind of a bit of a break.

But in the meantime, I was still in the tackle industry because my first job when I was 16 was actually working in another fishing tackle shop.

So I worked there for about two to three years and then went off to do paint and decorating, which was very boring.

And then sort of kind of came back into it after my last child was born and got back into a fishing shop.

We worked in two of them, actually, and then sort of seen a massive difference, Cormac, from where I'd left it in the terms of fishing tackle, fishing lures.

At that time, soft plastics were only coming in and we're kind of like, no, it'll never work.

It'll never work.

You know, and then fast forward then when I came back into it, it was like, whoa, where did this evolution and lures come in? And the fascination was more back into it.

And I started going out to get my friends and it actually so happened when I was working in the shop that Weston at the time, nine years back, we're looking for someone to represent them here in Ireland.

And I was the lucky kind of person that was given that role.

So I had nine years with them, which was fantastic, you know.

So thoroughly enjoyed it.

And the guys were great and got to meet some of the real big players in the company and managed to get four signature lures out of that as well.

So bringing an idea to the table and giving back to the guys that are out fishing as well.

My kind of idea of concept of what colors would I would like to see work on you know, and then say nine years, nine years is a long time.

So obviously Meccano came on, on the go and I kind of thought, well, you know what, it's a new brand to the market here.

Let's give it a go.

And I walked, um, walked into that, their kind of a role as their media market manager for the UK and Ireland.

So it was kind of like he was thrown into the deep end again and, you know, but I have to say I'm really enjoying it.

Absolutely thoroughly enjoying it, you know? So it's brilliant.
