Um, one of the things I, uh, a lady said to me back in 2018, when I first joined the organisation, I was down in Enniskillen and she said, you know, Robert, you know, the world doesn't end at the ballygolly roundabout.

So I suppose that, you know, so I think this allows us to think a little bit about, you know, what can we do during this period to get out and about, to get to Enniskillen, to get to Wormah.

And I know we do that work, but it's from time to time.

But I think this just gives us an opportunity not just to see differently, but to think differently.

But yeah, I think since I was maybe in my mid-teens, and then obviously through college, I would have been the COVID year that went in.

So I was 2019. going in so obviously COVID had a massive impact I went to college in Enniskillen so I was away from home a good bit and then when COVID hit like obviously everybody was stuck at home so you're kind of not interacting with as many people as you would have been up there and then you're brought back in and like I feel like I had my anxiety kind of grew when I was going back into college obviously not having that interaction.

I'm quite socially awkward, I'd like to say.

I seem quite cold.

And I want to tell you a story about a guy by the name of Gordon Wilson.

He ran a drapery shop in Enniskillen in Northern Ireland.

An ordinary shopkeeper with no reason to expect his name would mean anything beyond that town square.

But in November 1987, Wilson took his daughter Marie, a nurse, to Remembrance Day in town.

All the boldest spirits of the unconquerable colony had repaired to William's camp.

Mitchellburn was there with the stubborn defenders of Londonderry, and Wolseley with the warriors who had raged the unanimous shout of advance on the day of Newton Butler, Sir Albert Cunningham, the ancestor of the noble family whose seat now overlooks the Boyne, had brought from the neighbourhood of Lough Urn a gallant regiment of dragoons, which still glories in the name of Enniskillen, and which has proved on the shores of the Uxine that it has not degenerated since the day of the Boyne.

CHAPTER XVI.

Tell me this.

You're up in Enniskillen in Fermanagh.

You grew up there by the Loch Earn.

And I know you're famous for your pike angling and your perch angling.

Are you from there originally? How did you get into fishing?

So basically, yeah, my family's from Enniskillen.

So I was born here in Enniskillen.

Luckily enough for me to have all this water around me.

Now he was brought by a prison van.

Now this Mr. Irwin in court, when he appeared in court, alleged that the prison van had gone to who ballies Shannon via Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, which is obviously north of the border.

So Mr. Irwin's solicitor is a man called Ciaran Mulholland, a very well-known criminal defense lawyer.

He's based in Dundalk in County Louth.

Prison officers like Gardaí have certain powers.

Those powers, the writ of them only extends to the Republic.

And unfortunately for me, Enniskillen is not in the Republic.

It's in another jurisdiction.
