Tom HummelGuestI think you bring up something that I think a lot of people who flip that switch eventually, right? I think there's a moment, you know, and for most people, it's a compilation of a ton of teeny tiny moments over years, if not decades of their life.
And then All of a sudden, you get to Black Friday, you weigh yourself, and you see a 200 number on the scale.
I find that for most people... change is very difficult but objectively when you look at your life and you are in this situation and you look at the path that you're continuing down on for most people change starts when you acknowledge the fact that continuing on the path that you're on right now is more challenging than changing something and doing something different and stepping outside of your comfort zone I'm happy you shared that experience because I know a lot of people, most people have some type of experience that feels like that, similar to that, that sparks motivation.
Whether or not the things that you do after that are productive or helpful, eventually they will likely get you to where you want to be, hopefully.
But for you, I think it's an important message that I want a lot of people to hear and something I really resonate with your story and something I appreciated when you're filling out that application is just, we have to be honest with ourselves.
And a lot of this stuff takes you looking at yourself in the mirror and not being afraid of what you're seeing and actually choosing to do something different.
And, you know, if that didn't happen at one point, who knows where you'd be today, but it's something that I think most people need to go through.
