What's up Lorcana Crew!? Did you see us at NACC? We would LOVE to hear from you! On this episode we recap our time at NACC and prepare you with some rouge decks for Attack of the VIne Set Champs…
Josh DHostNickyHostWell, why don't we start there then with the LCQ slash NACC and let's just walk through your take on how the event went and kind of go from there.
What did you think of that event?

I had to fight the urge to want to compete in the highest level because I knew that as a content creator and player, there is some divided time, right? Like, I don't get to play as much as I would like because I'm busy.

Like, the hours I spend editing a video are the hours that other players are grinding on duels or playing with friends open-handed at their friend's house.

So, I just wanted to attend and get as much content as possible and get as many people in the community on camera.

Because not a lot of people get that opportunity, right? Like, Robinsburger does their best to capture the moment and the competitive portion, but they...

I'm not discrediting them at all, but their focus is there, and I took the onus on myself and other content creators do as well to get the camera out to the people, the people that make the event happen, the people that come and play the side events, and The collection quests and the 3v3s and all that fun stuff.
and I think this is the event to do that at, right? I mean, it's an LCQ, right? So it's incredibly hard to qualify.
I have to go 6-0 this year.
just to make it into the tournament, right? And so if you're going to take one off and focus on one team.
And then win

The winner was someone who got in from the last-hands qualifier, which is an amazing Cinderella story.
they do.
And to his respect, he's qualified in every region now, which is impressive in its own right.
But yeah, he went from the LCQ, started Friday, zero and zero, just like the rest of us.
And now he is sitting with that nice enchanted uncut sheet, right? So it can happen.
But yeah, this was definitely the event to focus on content, take the time off and just grind that out and make connections, talk with everybody.
I know I competed.
